FAQ

How much will this cost me?

Nothing! We’ll build the website for free, provide your website’s hosting for free, and will even purchase a domain name for you if you don’t already have one.

It’s simple. As a brand new company starting from the ground level, we don’t have any customers to talk about us or how having an ecommerce website built for them is super helpful.

We are willing to take a hit in the pocket if it means we can have a small group of people benefit from our service and tell other people about it.

June 27, 2025 is the deadline

We are not looking to make this an art contest. We simply want to be able to showcase a diverse group of artists or craftspeople, from different disciplines.

It’s definitely important to us that the artist or craftsperson is serious about selling their work online, have high-quality photos of their work, and can agree upon the Terms of Agreement.

An email will be sent on June 30, 2025 to all artists and craftspeople who have been selected as Pioneer Artists and alternates.

Anyone not selected will receive an email letting them know they were not selected, but thanking them for participatioin.

We don’t collect a commission, there’s no setup fees, no listing fees, and we don’t charge to build + setup the website for you. Transaction fees are 2.9% + $0.30. That is a charge by the payment processor, not by us.

As long as you have provided us with all the content we need (photos, prices for your works, etc), we can usually complete a website within 3 business days.

Yes. We set up your store with 8 of your pieces so you can start selling right away.

Nope! No limit what so ever.

You do.

However, in the Terms of Agreement it is stated that you will keep the website on our hosting platform for at least 1 year.

Who's Behind SellYourCraft

Shenole Latimer is a former professional musician and the former Education Director for East End Arts in Riverhead, NY.

Hi, I’m Shenole Latimer, and my life has been filled with music, art, and a passion for helping other artists. For nearly 25 years, I was a professional musician, playing saxophone with my own jazz quartet. We traveled up and down the East Coast, performing concerts and sharing our love of jazz.

I also started doing educational programs, bringing jazz to schools, libraries, and other places all over the country. It was a great way to introduce kids and families to this amazing style of music.

In 2013, I became the education director for East End Arts in Riverhead, New York. This was a chance to work with hundreds of visual artists. I helped them learn how to make a living from their art. I developed programs to support them and give them the tools they needed to succeed. It was inspiring to see their creativity and passion.

My life took an unexpected turn in 2022. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, which affected my ability to walk and use my hands. This meant I had to retire from playing music professionally. But I didn’t let it stop me. I transitioned into the world of technology, learning web development.

Now, I use my web development skills, along with my marketing experience and my deep understanding of the art world, to help artists of all kinds. I’m dedicated to supporting them and helping them thrive. I believe that everyone deserves the chance to share their talents with the world.
